Beginning school is a very exciting time for you and your child. Our transition program is designed to give your child regular opportunities to come to school and become familiar with the teachers and environment, building a sense of belonging within the school community. The aim of our program is to make the transition from Kinder to school as smooth as possible for your child.
 
Children will participate in a range of activities during their transition at Koo Wee Rup Primary School. These include Literacy and Numeracy activities in the Foundation classrooms and an introduction to the specialist program. During the final transition sessions, children will meet the students who will be their Year Six buddies.
