At Koo Wee Rup Primary School, we pride ourselves on student engagement and involvement, both at school and community level. Our Student Voice Team are School Leaders and representative from each class voted by their peers. During these fortnightly meetings, students discuss fundraisers and fun activities that can be done at school. The students are also involved in establishing initiatives in our school while also taking and collecting ideas to their classmates as part of our whole school approach to student agency.
Our Student Voice representatives are passionate and motivated to work together for our school. It is their own motivation that drives ‘how’ and ‘what’ they become involved in and the legacy that they leave behind. The Student Voice Team take pride in their role and helping the school and wider Koo Wee Rup community get bigger and better. It allows student leadership to grow at year levels.
